I just received my two chairs! I just placed an order for two more! I did a ton of research on patio lounge chairs - pricing, quality etc. These chairs stand head to toe with restoration hardware, crate & barrel, pottery barn. They are the perfect weight.. not too heavy, not too light.
They look VERY expensive. WOW - sometimes I think these review are written by the manufacturer because they can be so glowing at times.. but I am just a customer so pleased that I got these and that they are this great. I was prepared to spend $555 per chair from Restoration Hardware.. but I got two for less than the price of one. Only other thing I would add though.. the cushions are not fantastic. I am thinking about ordering more comfortable ones with the all the money I saved.

I purchased two chairs at first to test out the quality. I had been looking for a Wrought Iron patio set but I didn't want to pay the high prices I was finding. I really liked the chairs so I went ahead and ordered the WHOLE set! 2 loungers, love set, sofa, coffee table, side tables, and 2 more chairs. Honestly, I love the set! It's not your best quality but for the price I'm more then satisfied. They are heavy pieces but not so heavy you can't move them around. I had an issue with the sofa so I filled out the online return form and I'm telling you I have NEVER experienced the service I have received from Amazon. They processed a new order at NO COST TO ME and they will pick up the defective one when they deliver the new one. How great is that. Even Costco makes you purchase the new item first and then they will credit you once they receive the old item back! I order a lot online and I have to say Amazon has a great system.

I read all the comments of those who had ordered the pieces and decided that I would take a chance on this set and I couldn't be happier. I tend to be leary of ordering bulky items like this since returning would be a major hassle, but I won't be returning my set. The color of the set is a very dark chocolate color, borderline black. After reading some of the comments, I was concerned that the aluminum slates might be flimsy, but I am happy to report the slates are solid and not flimsy at all. I also was very impressed with how the set was shipped. The chairs come as a set in one box and shipped by Eagle USA. The packaging by Strathwood is very well done and completely protected within a very thick cardboard box. Even tho there is no assembly, it still took me 30 minutes to take all the wrapping of the sofa and chairs. I have to agree with other comments that the cushions do not appear that they will last very long (time will tell), but that was the least of my worries when ordering this set. I do recommend Scotchgarding the fabric.

These chairs (and the rest of the set) are fabulous! They are very very similar to sets sold by both Restoration Hardware and Plow & Hearth, but for a mere fraction of the price.

As others have said, I am not too impressed with the cushions, but the sizes are fairly standard so finding replacement cushions is pretty easy (and even after buying new cushions, the chairs are still significantly cheaper than those sold by other retailers). I recommend keeping an eye on the Restoration Hardware website. They have outdoor cushions on sale all the time, and if you happen to hit it when they first list a particular line on sale, it is easy to get a full set (dining chairs, lounge furniture, chaises, ottomans, etc.) I just bought fabulous replacement Sunbrella cushions from Restoration Hardware for six Strathwood Falkner dining chairs , 2 lounge chairs, a loveseat and a couple chaise lounges for roughly $600 in total. It would cost a small fortune at full price (over $2500!!), but on sale it was more than manageable. GOOD LUCK!

FOLLOW-UP POST: One season has passed and I still love the chairs. Another Amazon customer asked for details on the replacement cushions from Restoration Hardware. I bought the "Providence" collection pillows from Restoration Hardware. For the lounge chairs, specifically, the replacement pillows measure 24-3/8"W x 28-1/2"L x 5-1/2"H for the bottom cushion and 24-3/8"W x 16 "L x 5-1/2"H for the top cushion (they are currently on sale for $69 for the set, normally $295). They fit very well. If you happened to buy more than one pair of lounge chairs, you can buy a set of three pillow sets and save a little more money (listed as the "Sofa Cushion Set" at Restoration Hardware for $179, which translates to $59.67 per set). These pillows work for the lounge chairs and the loveseat as well (I am not sure about the larger sofa since I don't have that, but I am guessing it would be fine). I hope you love the set as much as I do.

THREE YEARS LATER: These chairs and the other pieces in the set are still fabulous after three years. I haven't had any of the problems that others have experienced with inferior joints and peeling paint. I leave the chairs on an open deck outside all year (in south carolina) and have moved them around a fair amount (banging them around in the process) and they look as good as the first day I got them.

I purchased this product in 2008 ( 6 club chairs, 8 table chairs, two chaise lounges and a table ) a year later the metal is expanding and deforming causing the paint to split and chip and the cushion covers frayed and fell apart after the first washing. I have tried to get the manufactuer's information from Amazon but was told they have no contact information but they are continuing to sell their product. I don't know if this is only the furniture that I bought or if this is a recurring problem. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

These are great chairs and well worth the money. The only grawback is that the cushions are just average, they could be thicker and the fabric lloks nice, but the quality is just ok. Still, they look great and even if the cushions need to be replaced or recovered after a 2-3 seasons, they are still a bargain.

I just rec'd my furniture. I bought two chairs, ottoman, two end tables and the chaise lounge. I love them all. They are very well constructed (no assembly - love that!) and very comfortable. I believe this furniture will last a long time and remain in good shape over the years. I especially like the fabric on the cushions. I have a black cat and his cat hair just wipes off with my hand. A big plus for those of us who know about cat hair. My neighbors have commented on how lovely the set is and agreed about the comfort level. One thing, though, I didn't notice in the picture that the length of the seat from the back of the chair to the front is longer than usual. I'm 5'5" so if I sit up straight, my feet don't touch the ground. Not a problem, though, since I usually sit with one foot tucked under. No problem for my husband who is about 5'10". In any case, just pull up the ottoman!

I bought 4 of the deep seat arm chairs for around our firepit and they look awesome! I also ordered a side table and the 3 cushion sofa. They are all great quality and look much more expensive then they are. I like the fact that they are off white because then they won't fade as much in the sun. I highly recommend this product line.

I am so thrilled with this product line that I just had to leave a positive review (somthing I've never felt stongly about before this). After spending hours/days/weeks online looking for a quality set I could afford, I finally found Strathwood's Falkner Collection. Each piece is welded throughout, no rivets or screws, and no assembly. The design is equally comparable to Frongate, Pottery Barn, and Ballard Designs. The cusions are well made, as long as you've resigned yourself to white and it's up-keep. I've purchased 9 pieces and couldn't be happier. In addition, I received the set within 5 days...an additional plus.

We bought a set of this furniture a year ago. A weld on the couch broke the first day but Amazon was excellent about replacing it promptly. A year down the road, the paint split and is falling off both chairs and the cushions need to be replaced. We'll have to buy an entire new set this year and try to get $50 for it on craigslist or just put the whole set in a dumpster.

A couple of years ago, I bought two of the lounge chairs with cushions and a table from Amazon. The chairs are comfortable. I keep the cushions inside so they have not deteriorated. But the finish on the arms of the chairs which I kept outside has peeled. The chairs still work, but I suspect that my arms would be scratched, if I rested them on the peeled surfaces. I would not recommend buying these chairs.

The furniture itself looks great and is durable however, the only reason I dared to buy bought white (actually off-white) cushions was that they claim to be machine washable. I've never been able to test this out though because the buttons sewn on each cushion don't allow for the cushion cover to be removed with out unsewing the buttons themselves! So yes, they are probably machine washable but only if you want to cut the buttons off and re-sew them together when you are finished! Not Practical!

I bought 1 two-seater sofa, 1 armchair set, 2 ottomans, 1 coffee table and 2 side tables in this line.

Couple of days after enjoying them on my deck, I have to say, I am excited about my purchase!!

I have reviewed the 2 seater sofa and details re the frame and the fabric can be found there. Overall, excellent quality, very comfy cushions. Color-wise, yes they do tend to get dirty; however great purchase for the price.

The chair-ottoman combo: I bought both since I knew I would not want to use them unless they were absolutely comfy. This combo is...heaven. I have parked outside ever since they arrived. I do not think you *need* ottomans because the chairs are indeed deep (seat cushions are 30") - yet, they become even more enjoyable with ottomans.

Overall, awesome quality for awesome price! Definitely comparable to Restoration H, S&H, PB, C&B quality!

One more note: I went to RH today and sat on their cushions. Their cushions are definitely nicer. However, for this season I can definitely enjoy my current cushions.

I am very impressed with the class of these chairs for the price you pay. I've searched online for weeks looking for club chairs & it wasn't until I found these that I felt I was getting the classic look I wanted for a very reasonable price. Most club chairs are $300+ for one which I would have paid if I found what I wanted. BUT this is the look I wanted & I paid less for 2!! The cushions are a bit stiff, but I plan on using some outdoor throw pillows to offer more comfort & class.

I bought these chairs partially based on the good reviews on Amazon, and the reviews were not wrong. These are AWESOME chairs at a fraction of the cost of the big retailers (C&B, PB, RH, S&H. etc.). There was some uneasiness regarding the cushions(via the reviews), but when they arrived, my worries were put to rest. The chairs are deep and sturdy. The cushions are far better than the Smith and Hawken set I had been looking at at Target. I've Scotch Guarded them recently. They had gotten slightly dirty previously (unlike any off-white fabric), but easily came clean. I figure if they ever get too dirty, the color lends itself well to dying before purchasing replacement cushions. This is an AMAZING deal! Buy them!

Very happy with our new chairs. They came quickly, well packed, in perfect condition and are great chairs at a very reasonable price. They are heavy enough not to blow away, but not too heavy to be difficult to move around. My one complaint comes from a review that i read about cleaning the cushion covers. When a bird decided to leave his mark on my brand new chair, I remembered reading that someone said they were easy to zip off and wash. Well...mine are tufted with a button, which made it impossible to zip off without ripping off the button. Bad design in my opinion. Either way, I'm loving sitting around the firepit on my new chairs!

Initially very happy with our purchase. Chairs looked good and were very comfortable. However.... after a few weeks both chairs developed cracks in the frame (joints), one of which quickly developed causing one of the legs become unstable and ready to break off. Fortunately this fell within the first 30 days and Amazon arranged for a return. When trying to move chairs down from the roofdeck black liquid seeped out of the cracks of the chair causing significant stains on the carpet only adding to the frustration and disappointment.
In short, my advice: don't buy this product, it's construction is inferior. And if you already own it, look carefully for cracks within the first few weeks.

Got these chairs after researching on amazon all the other outdoor chairs and sets on amazon. Also had done research for outdoor furniture at West Elm, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Home Depot, etc. Didn't want to spend over $1000 for a set- chairs, outdoor sofa and table. The price of these chairs is great.

My huge complaint as with the other reviews is the material isn't super sturdy. Esp for the outdoors. The color is an off cream color. Agree with some other reviewers that it has a bit of a peachy color. Not too peachy but just a tint. It gets dirty FAST. Even removing them from the box, I already had dirt stains.

Agree with one review to use Scotch Guard. I scotch guard all of the chairs and sofa immediately and it seems to have worked. But since the color is soo light, am predicting that the chairs will get dirty fast. If the color of the material were a dark blue, green, etc. this would be a steal. But now that I will probably have to buy a new set of cushions in a year or so, not sure if its worth it. Esp since outdoor furniture is going on sale and have seen other chairs that is made with better material and color that matches this price.

Perfect Match to Restoration Hardware Carmel Collection pd415 #2010-07-06

I just received these chairs and am delighted. I own the Carmel collection dining table and chairs from Restoration Hardware and was looking for lounge chairs to match. These match perfectly. If you pick them up you'll notice they weigh a bit less than the RH items, but the overall color, shape and appearance are great. If there is any negative, it is the color of the chair pads. I can't imagine the nearly white covers will hold up well. Otherwise, I think these are great.

Great product, well made for the money. Some places say they are deep seating and they aren't - these for sure are! I also have the loveseat to match. I think they are beautiful on my deck. Very classy looking. If I had any complaints it would be the color of the seating. They say that they are white or cream. But I think they are more of a vanilla or very subtle butter color. They aren't the color photographed. Great buy though!!

I looked at the furniture for all of those and feel that the quality of this is just as good. Yes I agree that the cushions are not really that great fabric wise, but you can buy new cushions with the savings!

However, if you really want to lounge, I recommend buying an ottoman or small table to put your feet up on. That would make the whole thing perfection. Good job, Amazon.

(Update, I just got the ottoman. Normally I don't like matchy-matchy sets, but it's perfect, the right height, etc. Seriously, get the ottoman. So nice and relaxing to put your feet up on. I also got the two-seater sofa. Really, really happy with the whole set.)

Oh, and a word about the cushions. They do get smudge-y if, say, my dog jumps up with dusty paws, but wind, morning dew, rain... they all seem to wash the dust and dirt away pretty well. I find the cushions to be really low maintenance.)

They were shipped from three separate locations, arriving on three separate dates, but all arrived within ten days at very reasonable shipping costs. I am extremely happy with the quality of the furniture. Unlike some previous comments I think the chair pads are of good quality. But I too recommend Scotchguarding them for added protection. If I had room on my patio I would order more pieces. GREAT BUY FOR THE PRICE!

A month ago I received the Strathwood Falkner 2 Seater Deep Lounge Sofa, the Strathwood Falkner Lounge Deep Seat Arm Chairs, the coffee table and the set of three nesting tables. I wanted to use the set for a few weeks before submitting this review.

First of all, the delivery experience was amazing. Each item was shipped to my door within a week and required no assembly. (Suggestion: when unpacking this set, use scissors to cut through all the plastic tape, then all the foam/paper wrapping rips right off. I came very close to scratching the finish when I attempting using a utility knife to free my sofa!)

The frames are lightweight, yet are very sturdy. When the cushions are put away for the winter, the snow will not damage this set because it cannot build up due to the slats. They're easy to keep clean, completely functional and beautiful. I still cannot get over the value.

In regard to the infamous white cushions...I was attracted to them for two main reasons. I knew that whatever color or pattern toss pillows I could dream-up, they'd look fabulous and because the cushions cannot fade-out in the sun! HOWEVER, Holy Mackerel are these things dirt-magnets. If I ever get them clean again I'll use a product such as scotchguard to protect them.

Today I attempted to unzip the covers to wash them. I was disenchanted upon making the discovery (duh on my part) that the decorative button inhibits the removal of the covers since it's fastened to the bottom. My scissors are just about ready to make the snip.

My solution? I just ordered replacement cushions that are not white and that have no buttons. I justified the purchase by telling myself that the entire set plus replacement cushions is still much less of an investment than any other deep seating set that I considered. Plus I truly prefer this design over anything else I've seen. Overall, I'd highly recommend this set.

We were nervous about ordering these as we couldn't see them, or sit on them. We trusted the previous reviews, ordered 4 chairs and 2 ottomans, and we were not dissappointed! They are lovely and well worth the money. The chairs are low and deep, (need a supporting back pillow) but really look high end. The cushions initially looked really peachy colored but outside just look fresh. Added 3 coats of fabric protector... The ottomans w/o the cushions can double as side tables or put together as a bench. Really happy with them!

These chairs are pretty comfy compared to the wicker I had before. They are definitely deep. I ordered cushions from Restoration Hardware after hearing other reviews and I ordered the Stinson and they are almost identical measurements. These cushions aren't great, but they'll last a season. They do have a peachy tinge to them. I wouldn't call it natural. More like peaches n cream. We bought the loveseat, chairs, motion chairs, coffee table and end tables and they are worth the money. We have a Telescope brand table and chairs and these compare well with those but at a third of the cost. Great buy!

Large comfortable chairs the shoe addict #2011-08-31

5 stars for value. These deep seating lounge chairs look very nice, and are reasonably comfortable to sit in. They are wide and low... with the cushions on, the seat is 16" high. The chairs are stackable for storage or if you need to wash down your patio. We have the ottoman as well, and the whole set looks high end. The cushions aren't as bad as they could be for the price, and have a faint butter/peach tint, although they look pretty much like the picture. With a free shipping deal, and on sale, these are an insane value for how nice they are. Fully assembled and delivered to my door.

The frame of the chairs is not bad. Color is as shown. The cushions, however leave alot to be desired. I don't know what kind of fabric is on the cushions, but it feels like a super cheap polyester blend. Not pleasant to sit on at all. Slippery, scratchy and just feels and looks cheap. I will probably invest in custom covering for those cushions next season and have some covers made for them.

In May I purchased the Strthwood Falkner Lounge Chairs, the Three Seater sofa, and two tables. I had based my product purhcase on previous reviews. The furniture is great and the price even with shipping is equivalent to what I would have paid alone for a three seater sofa. I still don't understand why outdoor patio furniture is so expensive but atleast with this set I feel I got a lot of value for my money. The cushions though will need to be recovered as the botton is sewn through the fabric so they are not removable unless you take scissors to the button threads. Still we have received many compliments even with the few muddy jack russell dog prints on the fabric.
Also too shipping was fantastic! the delivery driver even wheeled the furniture boxes back around to my patio.

We recently purchased these chairs for our front porch. All the neighbors have been noticing. Lots of nice comments. Seem sturdy. The only draw back for me is how extremely long the seat is- I'm short so I need to add at least 1-2 pillow behind me if I want my feet to touch.

Just wanted to say that these turned out to be nice chairs. However, first they are not white cushions...they are cream or off-white at best. Second they are very deep (long), so you may want to buy a smaller pillow for better back support. I bought a set of 4 and they look great on the patio.

I ordered these chairs and the matching 3 seater sofa. The sofa arrived damaged. I informed the company of the defective item. I was instructed to wait for the trucking company to come get it.

The chairs I never received and called amazon about the unreceived shipment. they were supposedly not shipped due to they were boken during shipment.
I am waiting for my full refund. Amazon is charging me a fee for cancelling my order. They will not respond to my email inquirey.
My sofa is still waiting for pick up. I have been charged on my charge account. I won't order anything from amazon if they do not respond to my request.
1.damaged sofa to be picked up and credited.
2.the shipping cancellation fee deducted from the full amount of the 2 chairs- I didn't receive.
